ELEUTHERIOS GREEK, CIRCA 1800 The Mother of God represented half-length, pointing to Christ, the latter seated on her left arm, blessing and carrying a closed scroll, their halos with floral scrolls and geometric designs, vines covering the lower part of the composition, with silver oklad; the second panel depicting St. Eleutherios, represented frontally, half-length, blessing with one hand and holding the Gospels in the other, his halo decorated with floral scrolls, his mantle with floral motifs, standing in an archway with flowers above, with silver oklad Mother of God: 7¾ x 5½ in.
