One affixed to stiff card mount with translucent cover sheet. Two iconic images of President Truman, one of him standing alone in a field, his back to the camera, the other of Harry and Bess Truman on the porch of their home at 219 N. Delaware St., Independence, Missouri. Both of these images were used in the 1979 biography of Truman by Charles Robbins, for which photographer Bradley Smith provided the images and captions. The first image was used for the front of the dust jacket. Both bear some instructions for resizing. Provenance: From the estate of Bradley Smith, his small copyright/address label on the rear of the second image. Lot Amendments Condition: First image with coversheet torn and the stiff mount with some wear; second image with light wear, small tape piece with instructions affixed to right edge; overall very good.
