CIRCA 1880, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, INCISED G59, PRESSNUMMER 73 TO ONE AND 5 TO OTHER, BOTH WITH BLUE PRINTED CROWNED ROYAL WR MONOGRAM
TWO MEISSEN DARK-BLUE GROUND OVIFORM POT-POURRI VASES AND COVERS CIRCA 1880, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, INCISED G59, PRESSNUMMER 73 TO ONE AND 5 TO OTHER, BOTH WITH BLUE PRINTED CROWNED ROYAL WR MONOGRAM With entwined gilt snake handles, one vase painted with two scenes of travellers in a wooded landscape and a cowherd crossing a river, the other with a gallant and companion in a wooded glade and a bouquet of flowers, within gilt oval cartouches flanked by trailing flowers and tied by a gilt ribbon, the spreading stems with moulded gilt foliage terminating on square bases, the pierced covers with gilt-edged foliage and cone finials (one foot with slight chip to two corners) 11¾ in.
