Two Rare Opel (Vauxhall) El Signs
Two extremely rare & highly attractive pre-war enamel advertising for Germany's answer to Vauxhall, the first being the famous the famous 'Motorist' sign, featuring fabulous artwork of a veteran-era chauffeur above the white Opel text. The other sign features a green c1910's-era open top Opel motorcar & its occupants. The 'O' & 'L' from the Yellow 'Opel' script below are incorporated into the pictorial design also. The sign also features green text over black reading 'Fahre, Sicher, Sauber, & Schnell', which translates to 'Drive Safe, Clean & Fast'. Both are believed to originate from Germany & are offered in great original condition. A rare opportunity to purchase two important pieces of Vauxhall history. (2)
