Two WWII Auxiliary Unit bomb manuals in the form of 'The Countryman's Diary Highworths Fertilisers' and a 1938 calendar, together with a collection of the Aeroplane Spotter magazine, both manuals with plain covers inscribed as per title, HMS notice to end papers 'Not to be published', the text detailing chapters on fuses, detonators and booby traps * Note-Formed in 1940 after Dunkirk, Churchill's 'Secret Army' were selected for the defence of the country should an invasion have taken place. Their identities were a closely guarded secret and one way of hiding their manuals was in plain sight with false covers. The manuals provide details for carrying out covert operations against enemy forces with hints on bomb making and placement.
