Accompaniments: Chopard Alpine Eagle box, Chopard instructions manual Following the steps of his mother, Princess Diana, HRH The Duke of Cambridge has been the official Patron of Centrepoint since 2005. Created in 1969 by Father Kenneth Leech, this charity helps homeless in London, the heart of the country. In particular, the charity aims at assisting young people rebuilding and shaping up their future; enabling each year more than 15,000 people to access education, health checks and house seeking advice; and eradicating sub-standard housing for youths. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the charity and celebrate its half-a-century commitment to eradicate homelessness, Chopard designed a special limited series from its Alpine Eagle collection (25 ladies and 25 men’s pieces), which was presented during the yearly Gala Dinner of 2019, hosted by the actor James Nesbitt and in presence of HRH The Duke of Cambridge, the Duran Duran, Ellie Goulding and many more celebrities. This edition could be purchased for a limited time only in the Maison’s boutiques and two models were kindly donated to the charity auction held during the gala on November 13th. How many times do we have the opportunity to offer at auction such a special timepiece? Created and designed in Switzerland by the most skilled Chopard watchmakers and commemorating the remarkable effort and hard work of all volunteers at Centrepoint, including the invaluable support of HRH the Duke of Cambridge as Patron, this particular watch has all the rights to be considered unique in the world. 36mm.
