unused A valuable and comprehensive collection on leaves with Modena, Naples 1858 10g. lake mint and 50g. rose (margins in places), Papal States 1852-64 50b. dull blue (touched to large margins) and 1sc. (good to large margins, with gum), Parma 1852 15c. and 40c., 1853-55 5c. (fine with gum and top margin), 15c. and 25c., 1859 set to 80c. bistre (good margins, thin spot), Romagna, Sardinia 1851 20c. and 40c. (both small to good margins, with gum), 1852 5c., 20c. and 40c. embossed on coloured paper (some wrinkling, all with gum), Sicily to 50g. and Tuscany 1851-52 1s., 1c., 2c., 4c. and 6c. (fair margins), 1857-59 1c. and 2c., Provisional Government 5c. and 20c. (both margins all round), 40c. (touched to good margins) and 80c. (just cut into lower corner, not signed); most stamps are signed, including all those listed above, condition is much finer than usually encounted in this type of collection making a substantial lot.
