unused Block Larger Than four 1873 70kr. brownish lilac, a complete sheet of six (157x198mm.) with overly large margins all round, fresh and of deep colour with good embossing and typical original gum (applied by hand with a brush and extending across outer stamp dividing lines), small spot of gum missing, otherwise unmounted mint, a few slight natural gum creases, across the middle there is an insignificant horizontal fold which is more visible in the sheet margin; the exceptionally large outer sheet margins have various folds and there are remnants of hinges at the outer extremity of the upper sheet margin; there is also a pencil figure "8" in the top sheet margin which could be an accountancy mark. Of the greatest rarity in this condition and freshness, and much rarer than used blocks of six. Ex Ferrary. Heinz Thoma Certificate (1992). M.42a. Photo in colour.
