unused Freaks & Errors, 19th-20th Century, massive and very significant collection of many hundreds of used and unused items on album pages, running the complete spectrum of the freak and error field incl. pre-printing paper folds, many items with freak and wild perfs. (some quite spectacular), dry prints, smeared prints, post office paper splices, gutter snips, double paper varieties and various double transfers, these are present on classic issues up to the 1940's (nothing more modern) and on some back-of-the-book items, also incl. some shades and cancellations through the Bank Note period, several noted on a few better stamps or on plate no. blocks, freaks or errors incl. unused no. 266/267 combination block, 498a block, 525c block, 538a block and two no. 670 wide spacing pairs, a no. 732 signed by the artist of the original N.R.A. poster adapted for the stamp design; an 'old-time' very desirable and valuable collection, worthy of careful examination and serious consideration, very mixed quality, some items do have faults or are faulty, otherwise good-very fine lot
