used The predominantly used accumulation in a stockbook including 1855-57 no wmk., blued paper 1d. (3), 2d. (5) and 1/- (2), 1857-63 no wmk. 1d. (7), 2d. (21 including two unused and a used strip of three), 6d. pale brown (2) and 1/- (4, two the dull emerald-green shade), 1862 wmk. Large Star imperf. 1d. (19, six apparently unused), 2d. (44, three apparently unused), 3d. (17 including an unused block of four - repaired), 6d. shades (10, five apparently unused) and 1/- (19), roulette 7 1d., 2d., 6d. brown and 1/-, 1862-63 pelure paper imperf. 2d., 6d. and 1/-, and perf. 13 2d. (2) and 6d. (4, one with additional row of horizontal perforations through the Queen's face), 1864 wmk. "NZ" imperf. 1d. (2, one unused), 2d. and 1/- (13) plus a large quantity of perforated values including 1864-67 wmk. Large Star perf. 12½ 1d. mint strip of three (light fox marks), 4d. deep rose (4, one unused - regummed) and 1/- mint block of six - faults), 1872 no wmk. 4d. orange-yellow (5 unused, one without gum) and 1872 wmk. Lozenges 2d. (2, small faults). A most interesting and valuable lot with a wide range of shades and printings, plus much of postmark interest.
