UTAGAWA HIROSHIGE (1797-1858) UTAGAWA HIROSHIGE II (1826-1869) Eitaibashi Tsukudaoki gyosen [Eitai Bridge at Tsukudaoki] and Ryogoku hanabi no zu [Fireworks at Ryogoku], from two different series of Toto Meisho [Famous views of the Eastern capital], the second published by Sanoki; Hoki, Ono oyama enbo [Oyama as seen from Ono], from the series Rokuju yoshu meisho zue [Famous places in the sixty-odd provinces], published by Koshihei, all signed Hiroshige ga ; Makura bashi yau [Night rain at Pillow bridge] from the series Sumidagawa hakkei [Eight views of Sumida river], (Hiroshige II), published by Hiranoya, all signed Hiroshige ga --good impressions and colour, two with minute strengthenings to reverse oban yoko-e : 24.9 x 37cm. each approx.; and oban tate-e : 36 x 24.4cm. each approx.
