MANUSCRIPTS - GENEAOLOGY - ANDREAE, Daniel Hermannus et al. Genealogie van de familie Eskes. Kollum, 1872. Original contemp. paper envelope with manuscript title on front cover containing: 'Geslachts-register van de familie: "Eskes" en de verwantschap dezer familie, met de familien: van Haersma en van Idema', hand-illustrated paper wrappers, manuscript genealogical register with hand-drawn pedigrees and coat of arms in colour, 15, (1) pp., and a collection of 10 (incl. 9 handwritten) 17-18th century family documents gathered by the authors of the register; all enclosed in a 19th century folder with ties and a ticket of Boekhandel van W. Eekhoff on front pastedown. Overall in good condition. Dimensions: c. 35 x 21 cm. Notes: Eskes was the most prominent family of Kollum, owners of the old townhall and of Westenstein.
