Carte-de-visite of what appears to be a long queue of people, possibly soldiers, with the backmark of McPherson & Oliver, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Provenance: William Gladstone Collection of Early Photography & African Americana Condition: First very good, with some soiling to the mount. Second is well faded, with soiling and a small stain in each corner.
