II, mentioned and reproduced p. 187, here belonging to the actor Erling Schroeder and as painted by Camuccini. Provenance: Actor Erling Schroeder (1945). Bruun Rasmussen auction 15, 1950, no. 106a. Could be a smaller study or repetition of the portrait by Camuccini painted in 1808 for the Accademia di San Luca in Rome. In that portrait Thorvaldsen is seen standing with his right arm resting on a stone sill.
