These are a direct sequence of Extravehicular Activity (EVA) or spacewalk photographs taken by astronaut James McDivitt of Ed White as he performed the United States first spacewalk during the Gemini 4 mission on June 3, 1965. All have red NASA identification numbers being S-65-30427, 30428, 30439, and 30430 at the upper left corner. Ed White was outside the Gemini 4 spacecraft slightly over 20 minutes and used a hand-held jet maneuvering gun to assist movement.
