One of three of the only colors offered in this Visconti Pen. All are of laminated semi-transparent celluloid similar to Parker's 1930s vacumatic pens. All are vacuum-fill pens, have gold Visconti "spring" clips and gold "V" embossed cap band. Pen #1 is a 1990s "Manhattan 'Sapphire Blue'" pen, is fitted with an 18K solid gold Visconti-Firenze nib that appears to be a medium oblique. Pen #2 is a 1990s "Manhattan 'Ruby Red'" pen, is fitted with an 18K solid gold Visconti-Firenze nib that appears to be a medium. Pen #3 is a 1995 Limited Edition (7000 unnumbered) "Manhattan" fountain pen. It is in an Art Deco design from the 1930s. Barrel and cap are made of celluloid in alternating black and a transparent "Emerald Green" clear resin rings, allowing easy view of "fill" level. It has an unusual, heavy, gold plated, spring-levered clip and decorated gold cap accent band. It is fitted with an 18K nib which appears to be a broad oblique. It is vintage mint-in box with papers. This pen is a close relative of the Visconti "Wall Street" pen. Being relatively inexpensive and great writing instruments they are now rather hard to find in this condition. These pens are mint, in a black reptile case in protective box with all papers. Condition: Condition requests can be obtained via email (brad@cowans.com) or by telephone (513-871-1670 Ext. 217).
