Since becoming a gemstone carving apprentice in 1973, he has been dedicated to creating unique and innovative designs with revolutionary technologies, most celebrated for his invention of 'Wallace-cut' in 1987. He is the first Chinese jewellery artist to be invited to showcase at Masterpiece London, TEFAF Maastricht and New York, and the Biennale des Antiquaires, Paris. Bonhams Hong Kong will offer three of his intaglios creations this season (Lots 550, 590 and 643).
