Walt Disney A typescript letter, signed, on Carolwood Pacific Rail Road Company headed stationery, from Walt Disney to John Samuel, 18th September, 1953, apologising for not visiting Greywood during his trip to England in the summer ...I'm sorry I didn't get around to see you when I was over this summer...it became necessary for me to return to the studio ahead of my schedule...I had planned on seeing you... but had to forego a lot of things I wanted to do so I know you'll understand what I was up against...I finally got the picture developed that I took when you were out here and I am sending you a couple of prints..., signed in blue ink Walt , 1p.; accompanied by a black and white photograph of Disney and Samuel proudly standing over a miniature steam train at Carolwood, July, 1954 -- 4x5in. (10x13cm.) ; and the first issue of The Miniature Locomotive magazine, May-June 1952, featuring a photograph of Disney on the front cover driving a miniature steam train, signed and inscribed in black felt pen To John, From Walt Disney , with original brown manilla envelope addressed in Disney's hand in black felt pen to Mr Samuel at his home in Surrey (4)
