(Some light spotting.) Contemporary blue cloth, upper cover with gilt double fillet border, and centrally-placed gilt lettering 'Alpaca' (slight discolouration to cloth). Provenance : William Barneby (Clater Park, Herefordshire, inscription). FIRST EDITION THUS: expanded from an earlier paper published in 1841.
