watercolour on paper signed and inscribed 'Jeremy from Marcus' by the artist on the back board 22 x 29 1/2 in., 55.9 x 74.9 cm Provenance: Jeremy Moy (a gift from the artist in 1997). Private Collection, London (acquired directly from the above). Jeremy Moy is best known as one of London's specialist art restorers, who famously restored Harvey's Portrait of Myra Hindley which was damaged with ink and eggs whilst on display at the Royal Academy's Sensation exhibition in 1997. The present work was a gift from the artist in lieu of the restoration work he performed on that now infamous painting.
