Welch Calendar No. 1 Rosewood Wall Hanging Regulator. Original 18 in. painted metal dial with large black Roman hour numerals, pierced Maltese hands and center perpetual days-of-the-week calendar. Quality brass 8 day double side-weight driven time only upside-down movement with deadbeat escapement, lantern pinions, large iron side weights, ebonized wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob; original signed "B.B. Lewis Perpetual Caledar" mechanism with 10 in. painted metal calendar dial displaying the dates and months. In a large No. 1 rosewood wall hanging case with reverse painted black and gold leaf lower tablet; has good labels inside of the case. Case is in excellent enhanced original finish, calendar and time functions are running, lower tablet is mint original; time dial has typical minor inpainting. 55 in. high x 25.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
