Werner (Freidrich Bernhard, 1690-1778). Twenty-six engraved views of Bratislava (from Accuratum ectypum et Repraesentatio elegantissimorum Prospectuum tam celeberrimorum & magnificentissimorum Fororum, quam Templorum & aliorum publicorum Aedificiorum illustrissimae urbis Vratislaviae in Silesia inferiore, Augsburg, Martin Engelbrecht circa 1735-36), 26 uncoloured copper engraved views and two letterpress titles (one in Latin and one in German), by Carl Remshart and Johann Matthias Steidlin after Friedrich Bernhard Werner displayed in three framed multi-aperture mounts, each engraving approximately 215 x 310 mm (Qty: 3) Marsch 230-38. Bretschneider XII. Thieme-Becker XXXV, 406. Rare and fine series of 26 views (from a total of 29) of the city of Breslau in Lower Silesia, Germany (now Wrocław, Poland), including a prospect and views of the principal buildings.
