FIRST EDITION of the poet's second book, one of probably 1000 copies printed, INSCRIBED BY WILLIAMS on front free endpaper: "John Riordon from W.C. Williams, Jan. 31 -- 1926." Wallace A2. [ With :] W.C. WILLIAMS. A Book of Poems. Al Que Quiere! Boston: The Four Seas Company 1917. 12mo, original yellow-orange boards (half-inch piece chipped from top of spine), printed dust jacket (spine lacking, worn), half morocco folding case (similar to the one above) . FIRST EDITION of Williams's third book, containing his first major poems, the variant in these lighter boards with the author's name on spine correctly spelt, INSCRIBED BY WILLIAMS on front free endpaper to the same recipient and on the same day as above: "John Riordon from William Carlos Williams.
