Minimal stray spotting, slight toning to some plates, soiling to a few margins, soiling at edge of plate 48, binding rubbed. Provenance: Don Bleitz (bookplates). COMPLETE WITH ATLAS OF FINE COLORED PLATES. "This late edition of 'Ord's Wilson' and 'Bonaparte' is a very fine one" (Coues). The plates in the first atlas volume were printed from the originals, engraved by Lawson under Wilson's supervision, and later retouched by Lawson.
