(13 5/8 x 10 1/2in.), original red half morocco and marbled boards gilt, bindings worn with inner joints broken, some leaves detached and with defects at edges, several text leaves torn, vol. 6 heavily foxed, occasional foxing elsewhere, plate 38 bound upside down, plates 29, 54 and 66 with slight tears, most plates offset to text. FIRST EDITION of vols. 1-6, with vol. 1, p. 33 in second state (sentence at end of line 23 beginning "I have myself"), Ord's revised edition of vols. 7-9, 76 hand-colored engraved plates after Wilson by A.
