6.75" double-edged spear point blade, 11" overall length. 4.5" hilt with pinned bone scales and German silver mounts. Fleur-de-lis trefoil pattern guard and pommel caps embossed with the Mexican "{Eagle & Snake}" motif. Obverse ricasso marked "WILSON SWIFT/BROADSTREET/SHEFFIELD" in three lines and "D.C.L." on the reverse. No scabbard. Condition: Fair. Blade heavily oxidized with a dark brown patina, scattered surface roughness, some pitting and chipped loss along the edges. Gips scales good with a nice cream color. German silver mounts with dings and dents and Mexican motif pommel caps with an old iron staple repair to secure them as the original pins are gone.
