ATTLEE (1883-1967) A loose 9½ x 7¼in. album leaf, signed: "Winston S. Churchill. Sept. 1943," "Franklin D. Roosevelt. Tehran and Cairo, Dec. 1943," "Harry Truman. Berlin 7/20/45," "J. Stalin" and "C.R. Attlee. Potsdam 1 Aug 1945," the verso containing further signatures (lower edge and fore-edge with adhesive tape marks, not affecting signatures). With five items of ephemera relating to Potsdam, including a seating and music programme with a menu card for a dinner held at: "10 Downing Street, Potsdam, 23rd July, 1945;" a "British Delegation" passcard for the "Special District" issued to C.P.O. Pinfield and a "Terminal Pocket Guide" to the "Potsdam Area." Another item of ephemera commemorates the "Tehran Conference Commemoration Unveiling of Tablet at the British Embassy, Tehran, October 5th, 1944." Provenance: Mr. Mark R. Pinfield. Chief Steward to Sir Winston Churchill during the war. By direct descent.
