Shows a full view of Jeffers’ standing near his Tor House, Carmel, with beach in the background and holding a pipe. Circa 1931. * Original gelatin silver-print portrait of Jeffers (close-up) taken by Horace Lyon, signed in pencil and dated 1938 by the photographer, 7x5" (including margins). * Original hand-written five stanza poem, “Watch the Lights Fade” inked and signed by Jeffers’ with his initials, 6x4". Later published in Themes in My Poems, Book Club of California, 1956. Together, 3 items. Archivally framed together, mounted inside a black wooden frame, with linen backing and matting, each loose inside mylar corner mounts. Measures 16x30¾" overall.
