[British, manufactured 1939, and in use 1939-45.] A Cast Brass bell, with dark varnished wooden handle, stamped with government marks, a crown and initials AM below, and a contract Number B20306/39, slightly tarnished, a few light knocks, and miscasting slurs. Height 240 mm, diameter 145 mm. (6 inches) An official government-made RAF scramble bell, made in 1939, and used at a British RAF airbase.
