WWII Medals. A group of five to Private G.H. Palmer, Royal Artillery Later Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and Nottingham and Derbyshire Regiment (Sherwood Foresters) 1939-1945 Star, Burma Star, Defence and War Medals, Territorial Efficiency Medal, G.VI.R. with ‘Territorial’ scroll suspension (874190 Gnr. J.H. Palmer. R.A.), extremely fine, mounted for wearing, with a small archive of original documents and photograph albums, including Soldier’s Service and Pay Book, Soldier’s Release Book, Skill at Arms Record Book, Record of Service Card, b/w photographs of the recipient in uniform and on his wedding day, an album of b/w photographs titled ‘With the No.1 Composite Anti-Aircraft Demonstration Battery in America July 9th - Dec 14th 1943’, all images captioned including Judy Garland and James Cagney on a precession, a scrap album relating to Palmers trip to America including cigarette packets and raunchy postcards, plus dress miniature awards, related cloth and brass regimental badges.
