A rare WWII Second World War period knuckle duster / push dagger trench combat knife / dagger. The blade with makers marks (slightly obscured) but stamped ' Sheffield, England ' to ricasso. The hilt of usual form, with pointed knuckle holes for finger positioning. Appears to have been fashioned together (or possibly repaired) at some point - the knife held to the knuckle duster by strong brass rivets. Unusual piece of weaponry. Measures approx; 23cm long.
