WYOMING]. Eight printed broadsides (including one in duplicate), concerning the Territory of Wyoming, 1869-1874: "Proclamation by J.A. Campbell, Governor of the Territory of Wyoming", Cheyenne, 3 August 1869, folio, 475 x 208mm. (18¾ x 8. 1/4 in.) , announcing the first legislative elections in the recently established Territory of Wyoming (created by an act of Congress on 25 July 1868), to be held on 2 September 1869, listing the offices to be filled, establishing the election districts, and setting out voting rights and procedures; "A Proclamation by J.A. Campbell, Governor...", Cheyenne, 18 July 1873, folio, 313 x 218mm. (12 3/8 x 8 5/8 in.), two copies, one with minor tears in top margin, the other on slightly browned paper , reapportionning the election districts; "Proclamation! By J.A. Cambell, Governor...", Cheyenne, 11 September 1869, 4to, 262 x 203 mm. (10 1/2 x 8 in.) , designating the Detroit House of Correction in Detroit, Michigan, as the Territorial prison of the Territory of Wyoming; Three proclamations by Governor Cambell designating Thanksgiving Day for that year, 18 October 1869, 4 November 1873, and 12 Nov. 1874, all 4to, 2 leaves , the first 283 x 216 mm. (11 1/8 x 8 1/2 in.), slightly soiled, top edge frayed , the two others 256 x 205 mm. (10 1/16 x 8 1/8 in , the second with the blind-embossed seal of the territory of Wyoming on both leaves; Poster announcing a prize fight, n.p., Argus Print[ers], n.d., [ca. 1870], oblong folio, 417 x 260mm. (16 3/8 x 10¼ in.), printed in large display types , "A Prize Fight Will take place on the Race Course! In Cheyenne, Wedn'y, Sept.,[sic] 1st. Between James Reed and Charles White Mr. Reed is the Champion light-weight of Colorado, and Mr. White has attained considerable notoriety among the sporting men of New York. Tickets...can be purchased of Charley Barnum...." (8)
