Y A pair of George III silver candlesticks by John Winter & Co., Sheffield 1782, the sconces with beaded capitals, the capitals with swag bands, slightly tapering stems, the square bases chased with foliate and beaded bands, 28cm (11in) high, loaded; and a pair of Victorian electro plated and ivory mounted columnar candlesticks by Joseph Rodgers and Sons, second half 19th century, with Corinthian order capitals, tapered stems and stepped and beaded square section bases, the socles stamped RODGERS EP with Maltese cross and garter marks, 29cm (11 1/2in) high Condition Report: Silver candlesticks - Marks obscured, both bases with splits and repairs, decoration is worn throughout, once sconce is stuck, the free sconce appears unmarked, generally poor condition The ivory is variously cracked overall.
