Beschreibung:

Velocette launched the ultimate expression of their two-stroke line, the GTP, in 1930. The new GTP was not a ‘built-to-a-price’ utility model but a sporting lightweight of advanced design, incorporating coil ignition and pumped lubrication controlled by the throttle. Early models featured a three-speed, hand-change gearbox while later developments included a four-speed, foot-change gearbox with the characteristic slim-line Velocette clutch. For the 1938 season the GTP was Velocette’s smallest offering, alongside the MOV, and was one of six models offered by the company that year. This sporting Velocette was first registered in March 1938 in London and in more recent years has been restored in the Geeson workshops. It is very nicely presented to original specification in all major respects and comes with Lucas lighting, pillion seat and a new leather toolbox cover. The tax disc suggests that it was last used in 1959 and it is now offered with old style buff log book and a Swansea V5 registration document.
