Like most Italian lightweights of the 1950s, the 98cc Zigolo was light-years in advance of its British contemporaries, being reliable, comfortable and endowed with excellent roadholding and handling despite rather crude suspension. Top speed exceeded 50mph and 100mpg-plus fuel consumption was attainable. Manufactured between 1960 and 1966, the Zigolo 110 came with a larger and marginally more powerful version of Guzzi's rotary-valve two-stroke single, plus the considerable advantage of hydraulically damped suspension front and rear. This Zigolo 110 has been owned by the current vendor, an Italian private collector, for the past 18 years. The machine is described as in generally fair/good condition and offered with Italian registration papers.
