1968 Rolls Royce Coupé Mulliner Park ward - sans/no reserve Châssis n° CRX 3645 Moteur n° 3645 - Version coupé, très exclusive - Rare conduite à gauche - Raffinement propre à la marque et au modèle - Conduite à gauche, livrée neuve en Suisse Pour la clientèle à qui l'exclusivité de la berline Silver Shadow ne suffit pas, Rolls Royce propose en 1966 une version coupé. Officiellement dénommée "Two-Door Saloon by H.J Mulliner Park Ward", elle bénéficie sur le même châssis d'une ligne légèrement différente, avec un discret décrochement au niveau des ailes arrière et des feux arrière inclinés. Plus élancée que la berline, elle est aussi équipée avec beaucoup de soin dans les ateliers de Mulliner. Côté mécanique, elle reçoit le V8 6,75 litres procurant à ce salon roulant d'excellentes performances. Le 22 novembre 1967, le coupé Mulliner Park Ward que nous présentons a été livré aux ateliers de Mulliner Park Ward pour que le carrossier y effectue les aménagements correspondants à la commande. Cinq mois plus tard, le 4 avril 1968, les clés en sont remises à son premier propriétaire, M. Provera-Barsi, à Lugano-Paradiso, en Suisse. Elle a ensuite appartenu au collectionneur irlandais M. Dennis Lane. Il y a une dizaine d'années, cet élégant coupé a rejoint une collection de véhicules anciens et, suite à un problème mécanique, il est resté stocké dans de bonnes conditions, sans tourner. Une révision mécanique sera donc nécessaire pour pouvoir l'utiliser normalement. Repeint il y a 20 ans environ, de couleur gris métallisé, il est dans un très bon état de présentation. L'intérieur en cuir beige clair présente une superbe patine et est équipé d'un volant en bakélite blanc, probablement une option d'époque. Le compteur affiche 21 951 miles et la voiture est une rare conduite à gauche, ce qui la rend particulièrement désirable. Officially called the "Two-Door Saloon by H.J Mulliner Park Ward", it used the same chassis but had a slightly different profile to the rear wings and sloping rear lights. More shapely than the saloon, it was also equipped to a very high standard in the Mulliner workshop. On the mechanical side, it received the V8 6.75 litre engine that gave this 'drawing room on wheels' excellent performance. The Mulliner Park Ward coupé we are offering was delivered to Mulliner Park Ward on 22 November 1967, for the coachbuilder to carry out the necessary work as per the customer's order. Five months later, on 4 April 1968, the keys were handed over to its first owner, M. Provera-Barsi from Lugano-Paradiso in Switzerland. It then belonged to an Irish collector, Mr Dennis Lane. Approximately ten years ago, this elegant coupé became part of a collection, and following a mechanical problem, it has been stored in good conditions without being run. A mechanical overhaul will therefore be necessary before the car can be used. Repainted some 20 years ago, it is presented in metallic grey and is in very good condition. The light beige leather interior displays a superb patina, and features a white bakelite steering wheel, probably a period option. The odometer reads 21,951 miles and the car is a rare left hand drive model, making it particularly desirable. It is being sold with just a copy of the German Fahrzeugbrief.
