Beschreibung:

Stylish, fast and well engineered, the 635CSi enjoyed a production run lasting into the 1990s, being periodically up-dated in line with its sister models. Mechanically similar to the 5-Series saloons, BMW’s 6-Series coupe debuted in 1976 incorporating some components destined for the yet-to-be-announced 7-Series. Karmann styled like the preceding 3.0CS/CSi, the luxurious newcomer was similarly well-specified, featuring all-independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and power-assisted steering as standard. Commencing with the 3-litre 630 and 3.3-litre 633, the range was supplemented by the 3.5-litre 635 in 1978. Improved suspension and a slightly smaller (3,430cc) but more refined power unit were introduced in 1982. Sold because its owners are emigrating, this unrestored 635CSi has the three-speed automatic/overdrive transmission option and is described by the private vendor as in generally very good condition. Although the car has had seven previous keepers, it has remained within the ownership of only three families, having been purchased new as a wedding present. Finished in gunmetal grey with black/grey leather interior, it is offered with a spare set of alloy wheels, old-style logbook, current MoT and Swansea V5 registration document.
