1996 Bentley Azure Lot Number263 RegistrationP1 JAY Chassis NumberSCBZK15CTCH53850 Engine Number87333l410M/TIT Odometer reading17,551 miles Estimate£55,000 - £65,000 Print details Send this to a friend 10 more images Just 17,551 miles recorded Book pack supplied Brand new hood supplied and fitted With its bespoke craftsmanship and traditional opulence, the Azure is a Bentley in every sense. Whilst this car has been built at the Crewe factory since the mid-ninety’s, the wore the ‘World’s most expensive convertible’ moniker with pride. And you can see where the money went. The quality of workmanships, the quantity of hide, the walnut facia from front to rear and Bentley’s heroic 6,75 litre engine propelling this gentleman’s’ library to a point too far away, too quickly that I cannot say for decency’s sake. The United States Department of Energy lists the Bentley Azure as “the least fuel-efficient car in its class”, I think that deserves a round of applause at least.. Records show that this Royal Blue Azure was sold new to the Maggistro family back in 1996 and has remained with them until the present day. The servicing records are all H.R. Owen except for the 2004 one showing Harwoods, Bentley specialists. The car then spent an extended length of time in store only to be release recently into the care of specialists, Silverlady, Brentwood. Much recommissioning work was undertaken as well as a full service in October last year as well as a light one just prior to sale. Additionally, the Pininfarina-designed roof was showing signs of long-term storage so this (including the headlining) has been replaced. The standard issue Avon Turbospeeds have also been replaced and the condition throughout appears excellent. As you would expect with a car that has travelled just 17,551 miles. The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day.
