2005 Aston Martin Vanquish 2+2 S Lot Number219 RegistrationMX05 ECZ Chassis NumberSCFAC14305B501571 Engine NumberAM06/10034 Odometer reading34,600 miles Estimate£80,000 - £100,000 Print details Send this to a friend 34,600 miles from new with full Aston Martin history Thirteen stamps in the service book Desirable colour combination This car can be viewed in person from 14th to 18th July 2020 at our the auction site, Windsorview Lakes, Datchet, SL3 9HY Aston Martins have always been at the forefront of many distinguished automotive enthusiasts’ collections, with iconic shapes that are permanently etched into our minds. The Vanquish S is no exception and debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. It was offered with a power increase from the standard car’s 460bhp to 520bhp, other changes included new wheels, a slightly different nose shape and a new raised boot lid with a larger integrated spoiler. It also benefitted from an increased top speed exceeding 200mph; the Vanquish S was, at the time, the fastest Aston Martin ever produced. The Vanquish was built in two versions, a two-seater and what became known as the ‘2+2’ with a couple of child-friendly rear seats filling the space that in the two-seater was occupied by a parcel shelf for luggage. The Vanquish models were all hand built at Newport Pagnell like all previous Astons with production ceasing in 2007. This example, supplied new by Stratstone of Wilmslow, was delivered to its first owner on 17th March 2005 and was supplied in the striking colour combination of Jet Black over a two-tone black and red interior. The car presents very well throughout and the paintwork shows little sign of age. The interior also presents very nicely, the leather upholstery is in superb condition with minor wear to the front seat bolsters and the leather dashboard is in excellent shape. The wheels are presented in fine order and sit proudly on four tyres all with plenty of tread. The Vanquish is reported to run and drive very well and the smooth 5.9 litre V12 makes for a fantastic exhaust note. Not only is the Aston a fast-modern day supercar but it is equally at home on long journeys and would make for an excellent touring car. Specified with the modern ASM system, the Aston really is a joy to drive and comes complete with a sizeable history file including a full Aston Martin history, various MoT records, the current UK V5C registration document and two keys. This low mileage example is certainly one not to be missed. The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day.
