A 20th-Century black enamelled "Harris" microscope slide projection lamp, a Davon telescope and various accessories, the lamp with a Hexa transformer, in a mahogany carrying case -- 38.1cm. (15in.) wide The curved lamp housing has a steel mounting rod and an aperture at one end with slide holders and a magnifying projection lens. An angled mirror attachment can be mounted above the lens. An electric flex at the other end connects to the transformer in a grey enamelled steel box. The carrying case is probably later and has a brass carrying handle and two hooks and eyes. In the case is also a receipt from Philip Harris & Co. dated 14 April 1943.
