A charming pair of small Venetian majolica mirrors Bassano, probably Le Nove, circa 1740 the looking glasses wheel engraved from the reverse with the figures of a man and a woman, the frame formed of four sections joined, each painted with flowers and insects, remains of gilding, a crest of acanthus, bearded mascaroons on the bottom, formerly supporting light arms from the gaping mouths, mounted on panels of pine wood, assembly numbers 13 and 25 respectively incised into the clay Quantity: 2 69.5 by 34.5 cm.
