A diamond five stone ring and a pearl five stone ring, the first set with five graduated old brilliant-cut diamonds, with pairs of rose-cut diamond points between, claw set to gallery with fleur-de-lys detail and reeded shoulders, mounted in yellow gold, stamped ‘18’ and bearing maker’s mark ‘D&F’, the second ring claw set with five pearls, untested for natural vs. cultured origin, mounted in yellow gold, unmarked, first ring size T, total diamond weight approximately 0.7 carats, second ring size O. £600-800 Condition Report The first ring has bright, lively diamonds, some inclusions are visible with 10x magnification. Two of the four rose-cut diamond points are lacking. The mount show some surface wear. The second ring has five pearls, all remain untested for origin; three of the pearls are drilled through, one is a little loose within its setting. The pearls are quite well matched, of silvery cream colour, and a rather low, silky lustre. The mount shows wear, particularly to the sides of the setting and the back of the shank.
