M.C. for Gallantry in Third Ypres at Pilckem Ridge on 31st July 1917, London Gazette 26th Sept 1917, wounded twice, July 31st 1917 and 1st Dec 1917. Born 24 May 1892 at St George Hanover Square, London. Married 1928, Died 1946. NB. Lots 1 to 50 in this auction are being sold with proceeds of sale being donated to Woody' Lodge Registered Charity (1173752) fund raising to continue their support to veterans.
