A GROUP OF THREE INK CAKE STANDS MING-QING DYNASTY (1368-1644) The group is comprised of an amber ink cake stand, carved with two phoenixes, one in flight amidst a blossoming tree, the other on the rocky ground below; a zitan ink cake stand, carved in the center with flower heads enclosed by scrolling tendrils and inlaid in silver wire with key-fret patterns around the borders; and a bamboo ink cake stand, carved on the top with a landscape scene. 2 ½ to 3 ½ in.
