A large berlin (KPM) porcelain painted plaque of an allegory of love late 19/early 20th century finely painted by Wagner and signed lower right, depicting an amorous young couple under a new moon representing a new beginning and seated on a bench by a wooded garden, a veiled figure looking on blessing them, impressed KPM mark beneath a sceptre and the letter H with incised measurement 16-12 on the reverse. Set within a carved giltwood frame. the plaque height 16 1/2 in.; width 12 1/2 in. 42 cm; 31.5 cm
