A LARGE SANCAI-GLAZED POTTERY FIGURE OF A GROOMTang Dynasty The tall figure modelled standing, with muscular arms and fists clenched as if holding reins, clad in an amber-glazed knee-length tunic open at the chest, with a green-glazed lapel, the unglazed head crisply moulded with large almond-shaped eyes and high cheeks framed by curly hair with a head-band, wood stand. 57cm (22 1/2in) high (2).Footnotes唐 三彩胡人俑 Provenance: Carmen M. and Allen D.
