A LATE TIMURID BLUE AND WHITE POTTERY DISH PERSIA, PROBABLY TABRIZ, SECOND HALF 15TH CENTURY With rounded cavetto and everted cusped rim on short wide foot, the white interior painted in two shades of blue with four roses divided by paired leaves, the cavetto with similar meandering rose sprays, the cavetto with lozenge hatching, the exterior with a band of highly stylised lotus leaves, three spur marks in the interior, very small repaired rim chip 12¾in. (32.3cm.) diam.
