A metallic gold sleeveless evening dress, c.1950, heavily embroidered with sequins and beads, zip fastening to the back, with matching shawl, and a taupe silk satin mid-length evening dress, c.1950, highly embellished in a floral pattern with scrolling motifs, gathered back section and bow, snap press fastenings (2) Condition Report Evening dress - good overall condition. Some loose outline stitching and a few losses to sequins. Staining to armpit area and lining and therefore would benefit from a professional clean. Shawl - no obvious faults. Gold metallic - overall the sequins and beads are nice condition. A few of the sequins need to be re-stitched and there are a few missing, please view additional image, upon request. There has been a small repair to seam at bottom of zip. There is some fraying to sleeve and neckline.
