A pair of Swedish early 18th century silver candlesticks, mark of Johan Wilhelm Helleday, Stockholm 1710.
Initials. Height 20,5 cm, diameter 16 cm, total weight 1.096 grams.
Possibly in the collections of Ericsberg, bought in by the great collector Carl Jedvard Bonde (1813-1895). By 1929 in Falk Simon´s (1874-1957) collections. Thereafter in a private collection sold at Bukowskis Höstauktion 1989, A469, lot 712 to the present owner.
The candlesticks in the sale are part of a set of four candlesticks, the other pair are engraved with a crowned SB and are now in the collections of the Swedish National Museum (NMK 40 & 41/1965).
