A pair of Swedish hardstone cufflinks by Atelier Borgila, Stockholm 1988, the rectangular panels laid with sections of various hardstones; with a similar ring, indistinctly marked Atelier Borgila was founded by the silversmith and designer Erik Fleming in 1921 and has been vital to Swedish design during the 20th century. Atelier Borgilas subjects are internationally known and have been exhibited in New York, Paris and Chicago. The designer and silversmith Henrik Ingemansson who for years produced objects for Borgila has now taken over Atelier Borgilas activities. Henrik produces items of a number of Swedish designers and closely cooperates with the designer Sigurd Persson
